I had a fabulous stay at this charming self-catering house. The location was ideal, with beautiful walks and outdoor activities nearby. The spacious and comfortable bedrooms were a highlight, and the beds were incredibly cozy. The breakfast provided was amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. I also appreciated the fast internet and the fact that dogs were allowed.

There were some areas in the kitchen and bathrooms that could have been cleaner.

The main living and dining rooms were also spacious, and we loved the addition of quirky artworks throughout the house. The house was spacious with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. The living and dining rooms were also spacious and the front garden was nice. The hosts were helpful and the house had everything we needed. There were quirky artworks around the house, some by the host. The property was clean and well presented. We were greeted by Colin who showed us around and gave us local recommendations. We ended up in a local pub, drinking with Colin and the other locals, which was a positive experience. The house was well equipped and felt like a home from home. There were small touches like umbrellas and wood for the fire. There was a tennis court and forest behind the house, as well as a playground across the road. The washing and drying facilities were amazing. Colin and Sheridan, the owners, were welcoming and loved having our dogs. They even provided treats for them. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice and my husband enjoyed Colin's homemade marmalade.

The location of the hotel is convenient, with several attractions within easy reach, such as Killen, Callander, and Deanston distillery. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely touches like bath salts and candles in the ensuite bathrooms. The hosts are friendly and offer helpful advice on what to do and where to go.

The hotel would benefit from having a shower cubicle on the ground floor.
