The shower screen was loose and the balcony area was not clean upon arrival. The lounge area, which converts into a bedroom, could benefit from blackout curtains or blinds for better sleep.

David, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even going so far as to make a sofa bed for us. The welcome pack provided all the necessary information for our stay. We especially appreciated the ability to cook our own dinners with the supplied cooking supplies and spices. The location was convenient, with a 30-minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and a 20-minute walk to the Royal Mile. The contactless check-in process was easy and hassle-free. We highly recommend this property.
