loved everything about the cottage! it was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and tucked away in a quiet alleyway. the view of Whitby Abbey from the top floor was a delightful surprise. highly recommend staying here, exceeded our expectations.

Parking was a hassle.

The location was fantastic, close to the harbor and the shops. The cottage was very clean and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a lovely view from the top floor. I was pleasantly surprised to find cleaning products and basic food supplies provided. The self-catering aspect was perfect for me, and I enjoyed making my own porridge for breakfast. The decor had a charming seaside theme, creating a true retreat atmosphere. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of curtains in the bedrooms and difficulty with the parking, I would definitely book again. I highly recommend Amber Cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay at Amber Cottage. The cottage was immaculate and cosy, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The central location was perfect for exploring and going on walks. Free parking nearby was a bonus. We also appreciated the warm and welcoming hosts who made our stay worry-free. Whitby, where the cottage is located, is a dog-friendly town, making it an ideal destination for our first doggy holiday. The proximity to the Whitby front was amazing, and we enjoyed spending time at The Ship Pub and trying the delicious fish and chips at Papa's. We can't wait to visit again.

Lovely, cosy, warm and clean cottage. Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Close to parking and central location for exploring. Dog-friendly and close to shops and restaurants.

I absolutely loved my stay at this cottage! The cleanliness was spotless, making me feel right at home. The modern and bright accommodation was a pleasant surprise, and it was great to have a well-stocked kitchen with tea, coffee, and milk. The location of this place was brilliant, as it was close to the station and offered a fantastic view of the nearby abbey from my attic bedroom. The decor was simple yet homely, adding to the overall charm. I can't wait to come back for a longer stay with my dogs!

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage near the center, clean with tea, coffee, and milk. Quaint and worth the stay. Beautiful decor and furnishings. Improved facilities like WiFi, coffee machine, new sofas, chairs, and a courtesy tablet. Good location, comfy beds, and nice bedrooms.

The decor is modern, facilities are good, and location is central. Lovely view from the top window. Ample space for a family of three with additional guests. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Will definitely return.
