The location of the hotel is great, as it is near a nice park and in the centre of Babbacombe. Additionally, it is just a short walk down to Oddicombe beach, which is convenient for beachgoers. The common areas of the hotel are well-maintained and provide a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast served at the hotel is tasty, and the staff is amazing, always ready to assist. The pool at the hotel is a great facility, and my husband enjoyed a brilliant massage during our stay.

The noise from other guests during the night was a major downside of our stay.

I recently stayed at the Anchorage Hotel for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Ava, Jacob, Daisy, and Connor. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and had options for gluten-free and vegetarian diets. The outdoor heated pool was a great addition, along with the relaxing outdoor area. The ice cream and coffee bar was a lovely touch. The hotel is conveniently located near the seafront with plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from.

Comfortable bed and decent sized rooms with good facilities. Evening and weekend staff were friendly and accommodating. Convenient location, only 5 minutes walk from Babbacombe Downs. Pet friendly, even left a biscuit for our dog. Would definitely recommend and return.

During our recent Christmas break, we enjoyed the beautiful location and welcoming staff. the complementary drinks and snacks were a lovely touch and the central location allowed us to explore the nearby shops and attractions easily. the festive decorations added to the ambiance and we appreciated the cozy atmosphere.

The food during the evening meal was below average and lacked flavor. the buffet style setup made it challenging to find everything we wanted and some dishes were not to our liking.
