The location is perfect, right by the Monsal Trail and a beautiful river. The pub serves amazing food and the staff are very friendly. The cottage itself is in a beautiful setting, with lovely views and a cozy atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast provided had a good selection of cereals.

The facilities in the kitchen were basic, with old and mismatched cutlery.

The little apartment was lovely! Simply furnished and matching carved wood furniture. It had a small kitchen area that had everything needed for a lovely stay, including bread, milk, butter, cereals. The location was in a beautiful setting, right next to the river.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming riverside location. The keys were conveniently picked up at the attached pub. The room had a comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean. The service was excellent and the staff at the pub were friendly. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh bread, milk, and a variety of cereals. The view of the river was absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Some kitchen facilities were lacking, such as oven gloves and a casserole dish.

We really got great value for our money at the Anglers Rest. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, and the staff treated us with warm hospitality.

Morning meal could have been better with some fresh bread included in the welcome pack.

Stayed at a lovely place in the heart of the Peak District. Easy access to all desired locations by car. On arrival, appreciated the provided bread, milk, butter/jam, and tea/coffee. the pub had a cozy atmosphere, with friendly and excellent staff. Food and service were great!
