Just stayed at a hotel in Appleby in Westmoreland. the breakfast was AMAZING, set us up for the day! the rooms were comfy but looked onto an ugly spa roof. I'd stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel, set in a peaceful location with breathtaking views of the hills. The bistro offered a relaxed atmosphere, and the meal in the main restaurant was outstanding. Our deluxe room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed. The staff provided excellent service, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed sitting in the beautiful grounds and taking in the view of the nearby castle. a wonderful experience in a tranquil and picturesque setting.

We were disappointed that the spa closed earlier than advertised.

appleby-in-westmorland exceeded our expectations this time with appleby hotel. staff were welcoming, food superb, extensive wine list, accommodating for larger parties, and a relaxing spa. ready for christmas, tastefully decorated hotel with plenty of areas to relax. booked our return trip for late october.

The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, especially from the conservatory. Plus, we enjoyed the range of gin available at the bar, especially the Hadrians Wall gin.

The reception area looked tired and in need of refurbishment. The breakfast was basic and could have been better.

Great spa and good location. Room was nice and clean. the staff was friendly and ready to help at any time. the spa treatments were value for money and definitely worth trying. the location was great, near to all the main attractions, so we had plenty of sightseeing to do.

The food was not great and expensive considering the quality. the restaurant service was slow.

We had a fantastic two-day break at this hotel. The 1st floor garden view room was spacious, very clean, and had pleasing decor. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the spa experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with plenty of choices on the menu. The hotel's location provided beautiful views of the gardens, countryside, and even a castle in the distance. We loved the big comfy chairs and settees in the relaxing seating areas.

The breakfast menu offers a varied selection and the breakfast staff are friendly and informative. Indoor activities, such as snooker and ping pong, add to the overall experience.

The hotel lacks security measures, as reported by a guest who had valuables stolen from their locker in the spa area. The hotel does not have cameras, making it difficult to identify the culprit.

Although the hotel was fantastic, I would recommend it more for couples rather than families.
