I recently had a wonderful and relaxing break at Appley Lodge. The warm-hearted and welcoming hosts, Wendy and Gareth, made me feel right at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options. I especially loved the freshly made fruit cocktail. Wendy and Gareth were very knowledgeable about the area and provided helpful suggestions for things to do. The location was perfect for exploring the Isle of Wight. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting the island.

I recently stayed at Appley Lodge for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with plenty of space around the bed. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water and the wide selection of teas and coffees, along with the biscuits. The hosts were so accommodating and even kept the milk and water in the fridge in the corridor to prevent spoilage during the heatwave. The high ceilings in the historic house added a touch of luxury, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was great, with a sunny veranda to relax on and plenty of dining options nearby. Free off-road parking was a bonus, and the hosts even booked our return ferry crossing. Gareth and Wendy were perfect hosts, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order, and the array of spreads for toast and homemade muesli were delightful. The attention to detail in the bedroom was outstanding, from the multiple towels and toiletries to the Lotus biscuits with the teas and coffees. The shower was powerful, and the room was quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. our stay at Appley Lodge was excellent, and we will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming B&B! The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had plenty of space. As a light sleeper, I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and comfortable bed. The hosts, Wendy and Gareth, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the complimentary bottled water, variety of tea and coffee options, and delicious biscuits. The house itself is a lovely 1890's property with high ceilings, making it feel even more luxurious. The breakfast room was well-spaced and I enjoyed chatting with the other guests and getting recommendations for exploring the area. The breakfast itself was fantastic, with a great selection of food and allergy-friendly options. I particularly loved Gareth's amazing fried mushrooms!

The location was also ideal, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

The limited hot water during peak times. It was a bit inconvenient to have to be selective about when to have a shower, as there were times when hot water was not readily available.
