We stayed at a guest house called Ardtara Country House and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment we arrived and met Nicola at reception to our interactions with Valerie and Scott, everyone was genuine and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the staff were always helpful in planning our day trips and walks in the area. The food at the guest house was also a highlight, with excellent starters and a barman who made his own distilled gin. it was a memorable experience and we can't wait to go back.

Enjoyed some of the finest dishes in the North West, had a fantastic few days, and the house had great charm and elegance.

Loved the experience of being woken up in the middle of the night by singing, piano-playing, and car headlights shining into the room. So relaxing!

The breakfast options are varied and delicious, catering to different preferences and tastes. the hotel offers a lovely little wood area where guests can take a stroll and relax.

The immediate area around the hotel doesn't offer much in terms of activities or attractions.

My recent stay at Ardtara Country House was simply incredible! From the moment I arrived, I felt like a VIP. The staff addressed me by my first name throughout my entire stay, adding a personal touch that made me feel truly valued.
