The rooms are small but clean, with a friendly and helpful staff providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious, and there is a lively bar on-site. The nearby Drumfearne restaurant is also recommended for a brilliant dining experience. the location, room, service, and facilities make this hotel a great value for money.

The internet connection was a bit intermittent, which might not be ideal for those who need constant connectivity.

We had an excellent holiday @ Ashbank with John & Sharon. The bed was so comfortable, I wish I could take it home! John's breakfasts were delicious and we definitely indulged. The small hotel is well-run by this lovely couple, and our room had stunning views of the sea and golf course. It was quiet and cozy, with a tricky but functional shower and a kettle in the room. The hosts went out of their way to make sure breakfast was safe and provided a lunch pack for our hike. The location is perfect for exploring the Kintyre Way, but be aware that some eateries may be closed outside the core season.
