We had a wonderful stay at Ash Grove Farm in Llawhaden. It truly felt like a home away from home, with the added charm of the countryside. Julie, the owner, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. She provided us with fantastic recommendations for places to visit and eat, including hidden gems that tourists often miss. Our 5-year-old son was welcomed with open arms and loved the experience of being on a working organic dairy farm. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen for our four-night stay. Julie even provided us with fresh eggs from the farm and a delicious dessert. The apartment also had a welcome book, free WiFi, and a smart TV with streaming services. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the Dyson fan was a nice touch for those warm nights. We highly recommend Ash Grove Farm and would love to stay here again. Julie and her family made our little holiday truly special.

The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, including a dishwasher, and some supplies were provided like fresh milk, eggs, and Welsh cakes. The bathroom had a lovely walk-in shower and fluffy towels, and the owner was kind enough to provide a fan for a cooler night. The smart TV and welcome book were thoughtful additions, and there were even dog washing facilities available. The host was fantastic and made sure our needs were met.

While the apartment itself was great, the surrounding smell from the cows was a bit unpleasant during our stay. Many may find it to be part of the country charm, but it was a downside for us.
