The Ashwood Hotel in Preston was a perfect 10! From the warm welcome at reception to the spotlessly clean and well-presented room, my stay exceeded my expectations. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the train station and city centre. The staff were helpful and the inclusive full English breakfast was excellent. a fantastic hotel in the budget price range.

It was easy to find and had good wifi. the shared bathroom was clean and I never had any issues with it being occupied. the room itself was nicely decorated, comfortable and had a sink. there was a kettle with tea and coffee provided.

Although you could order hot food, such as eggs and bacon, the quality was very poor. Another downside was the lack of parking.
