Aspen Lodge is a gem of a place to stay, deserving of a 5-star rating. We were even pleasantly surprised when the owner ran us into town at no extra cost, providing us with excellent service. We really enjoyed our new year stay at this lodge. the view from our room was breathtaking, and the breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from. It was also nice to have a selection of toiletries provided for us. the lodge is located in a great spot for peace and quiet, while still being accessible to town.

The atmosphere felt a bit too personal, and at times we felt like we were intruding on someone's private space. the owner was friendly, but sometimes we wished for more privacy.
