We had a truly delightful stay at this charming country inn. The location was stunning, surrounded by the picturesque Ribble Valley. The room was beautifully decorated and provided a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the Fish and Chips, which were the best I've had in England. Despite a few small issues with the bathroom and the breakfast room, these were easily overlooked considering the overall experience. The staff were helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We will definitely be recommending this lovely place to others. a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations.

From the warm welcome to the comfortable and well-furnished room, everything exceeded my expectations. the view from the cottage was breathtaking, overlooking the charming village and Pendleton Hill. the ensuite bathroom was a highlight, with a spacious free-standing bath and a delightful window seat. the dinner was excellent, with a well-thought-out menu selection, especially for seafood lovers. the wine list and service were also commendable. it was a great experience, and the location in the Ribble Valley made it a perfect base for exploring and enjoying walks.

We recently stayed at a hidden gem of a hotel located in a picturesque village. the luxurious amenities of this hotel were impressive, including private facilities and exclusive room advantages. the bar/lounge area was cosy and well-stocked, and the staff provided excellent service. the restaurant served delicious meals with fresh ingredients sourced locally. the breakfast was also noteworthy and had a variety of options.

One minor issue was that the shower floor was very slippery and lacked a shower mat or grabrails, making it quite dangerous. this was a minor inconvenience and did not detract from the overall luxurious experience.

Spent the Easter weekend in a beautiful cottage surrounded by trees and greenery. the interior decoration of the cottage was stunning and had all the necessary amenities. the Lancashire breakfast offered was the best I have ever had, the locally sourced products added to its quality. the staff at the restaurant were very efficient and friendly.

The location felt slightly isolated, it was a bit of a drive to find shops or other activities to do. the heating was slightly low and took some time to warm up, making it slightly uncomfortable at the start.

I had a fantastic stay at The Assheton Arms. The setting was absolutely spectacular, with stunning views of Pendle Hill and the Ribble Valley. The hotel facilities were excellent, with stylish and comfortable rooms and a lovely traditional country pub setting. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom were top-notch, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food, especially the fish dishes, was absolutely delicious. I also appreciated the convenient parking and the fact that there were good walks right from the hotel. the location, delicious food, and friendly staff made my stay truly enjoyable.

from the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. the room we stayed in was excellent - spacious, quiet, and with a huge bathroom. we especially enjoyed sitting in the chairs and admiring the breathtaking view of pendle hill and the charming main street of beautiful downham. the restaurant at the asheton arms was also top-notch, with delicious food and a great selection of beers. overall, we were genuinely wowed by our experience and can't wait to return soon with our biking mates.

The picturesque location of this hotel is a real gem, tucked away in the countryside. The rooms, although not in the main building, are cozy and comfortable. You can enjoy a delicious brioche roll for breakfast outside, taking in the stunning views up to Pendle Hill. The traditional street scenes throughout the village add to the charm. With attentive service and a lovely bathroom, your stay here is sure to be enjoyable.

It's worth noting that the path back to the rooms after dinner is uneven and not well lit.

The location of the hotel, opposite a very pretty old church, is absolutely stunning. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the charm of a quaint village. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, providing a great retreat after a long day of hill walking. And speaking of hills, the view of Pendle Hill from the hotel is simply mesmerizing. With such breathtaking surroundings, you can't help but feel at peace.

The service at the restaurant left much to be desired, with long wait times and forgetful staff.
