I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this luxury retreat. The tranquility of the surroundings was absolutely wonderful. The lodge was clean and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The beautiful setting allowed for a peaceful atmosphere, with nothing but the soothing sounds of birds and distant steam trains. I would highly recommend this place to others and definitely plan to return. The staff were helpful and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Loved the tranquil setting of the lodge, surrounded by beautiful countryside. the lodge itself was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our romantic escape. the contact with the owner was excellent, as she always responded quickly and was very helpful. the adjustable beds in the lodge were perfect for my partner's back, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.

One disappointment was that the fishing facilities mentioned in the list of amenities were not available, even though it was one of the main reasons we booked. However, there were plenty of other activities to enjoy in the local area.
