The staff were incredibly helpful and the owner personally greeted us upon arrival. The room had tea and coffee facilities, and the hot water was consistently available. The shower was excellent, and the cleanliness of the room was exceptional.

The full Scottish breakfast served was absolutely delicious and kept me satisfied for the entire day. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the train station and tram made it easy for me to explore Edinburgh and attend a conference at the nearby Carnegie Conference Centre.

Lovely clean hotel with modern rooms and a super king-sized bed. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. the hotel had a nice on-site bar lounge which was cosy. the location was great, with a short walk to the city center and train station for easy access to Edinburgh. We also enjoyed the free parking and good wifi connection.

The toilets had a problem with flushing again within ten minutes. Other than that, there was really nothing to complain about.

For the price I paid, I got great value and a clean, nicely decorated room with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The hotel's location in a secluded valley surrounded by trees was just lovely. The manager, Alan, provided excellent hospitality and personally showed me to my room, making me feel very welcome.

I highly recommend Auld Mill House for anyone visiting the area.

We had a fantastic stopover stay at a lovely little hotel in Dunfermline! The owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, making us feel right at home. Thanks to his recommendation, we scored last-minute tickets to see the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and discovered a charming pub. The breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip, freshly cooked to order and served hot. Though the mattress was a bit soft and there was some noise from the corridor, it didn't affect our overall enjoyment. We appreciated the clean and quiet location, as well as the easy parking. Considering the value for money, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.
