I recently stayed at Avalon in Great Yarmouth for a few nights. The host, Ann, was welcoming and helpful, ensuring my en-suite room was comfortable and spotless. The hotel's proximity to the beautiful beach was a definite plus, and I appreciated the quietness and cleanliness.

From the outside, it may seem small and unimpressive, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and impeccable cleanliness. the bedrooms were well-equipped with modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, and amenities like tea/coffee facilities, Wi-Fi, and TVs. I had a fantastic experience at Avalon Guest Accommodation and would definitely return.

The bathroom was a bit cramped and some of the amenities were broken or too small. Additionally, there wasn't much variety for breakfast and it wasn't replenished each day.

The location was perfect, right near the beach and set up in the front garden, providing a beautiful view. The service was top-notch, with friendly and hospitable staff who made us feel welcome. The location of this accommodation was ideal for us as it was fairly close to Gorleston town centre where we were working. it was very close to the attractive sea front, allowing us to take leisurely walks along the beach. The room itself was freshly decorated, with clean bed linen and a comfortable bed. The shower room/toilet had plenty of storage space and hooks, providing convenience for our stay.

The locks on the property were not working well, causing us to struggle with opening the doors multiple times with the key.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Avalon Guest Accommodation. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and the guest house was spotless and had a pleasant fragrance. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. We appreciated the informational leaflets about the area and the owner's helpfulness in arranging free postage to return our forgotten toy. Fast check-in and check-out.
