The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city centre. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every little detail was taken care of. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of food to choose from. I was impressed with the quality of service and the level of comfort provided at this hotel.

The location of the guesthouse is absolutely ideal. Situated close to the river, it's just a short walk down to-and-along the river into the town centre. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a contemporary feel, with lovely Scottish touches throughout. The bathroom was clean and had nice little extra touches like robes. The service provided by the staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast offered a wide range of options and was delicious. we had a pleasant stay.

The heating in our room was a bit too warm and we struggled to adjust it to a comfortable level.

I stayed at Avalon for one night before exploring Loch Ness. The owners were accommodating with my late check-in and provided a well-stocked continental breakfast for my early departure. The room was lovely, comfy, and well-appointed. The added extras like a small fridge and little treats made me feel at home. The breakfast had a lot of options, including a Scottish breakfast. I would definitely stay at Avalon again.
