Had a delightful Christmas stay with great hospitality and quirky decor. the owner was accommodating and friendly, making us feel welcome and at home. the breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. Conveniently located near the town center and had nearby pubs for a quick drink.

The hand-held shower over the bath was a bit inconvenient, especially for individuals with arthritic hands. Some may find the eccentric furnishings and vintage collectibles too overwhelming in the rooms and throughout the house.

We arrived late on New Year's Eve, but the owner still waited up for us and even offered us some snacks when we arrived. the guesthouse was in a great location - just a short walk from the town centre and there were plenty of options for dining nearby. In the morning, we were treated to a large breakfast selection with plenty of options to choose from. We also appreciated the fact that the owner went out of his way to make us some sandwiches for the road.

As nice as the guesthouse was, the rooms felt slightly cluttered due to the owner's collection of antiques and other items. the footboard on the bed made it a bit uncomfortable for taller guests like myself to get a good night's sleep.
