The location of the hotel was fantastic, nestled in the picturesque countryside. Guests enjoyed the accommodation in the main house, which offered close proximity to the well-maintained toilets and showers. The rooms were spacious and provided a comfortable stay for business travelers. The cafe served a delicious breakfast, ensuring guests started their day on a positive note.

Some guests encountered inconsiderate individuals who allowed the fire doors to slam during the night, causing disturbance.

I recently stayed at the Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre for a stopover and loved it. The location is completely different from any other hotel or hostel I've stayed at, and the team there were lovely. The comprehensive breakfast got my day started nicely, and I even got to learn about the fascinating history of the house from one of the staff members. It's a great place for a layover or for people exploring the local area. Million times better than a run of the mill travel tavern!

We had a fantastic time at this outdoor activity center. The building had loads of character, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. We loved the peaceful setting and the abundance of activities available. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the value for money and the various facilities provided, including a coffee/tea machine and access to squash and water. it was a perfect location for an active holiday in the beautiful New Forest.

The noisy doors in the corridors can be disruptive, especially early in the morning and late at night.

We had a fantastic stay at the Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre Villa. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant, making our experience even better. The house itself was beautifully decorated, with a clean and cosy bedroom. We especially loved the availability of books and vintage sofas throughout the property. It was great to see inclusive groups and activities for children and families, making us feel safe and welcome. The highlight for us was being able to play table tennis in the main hall, which provided hours of fun. We also enjoyed the various outdoor activities like canoeing and abseiling, thanks to the educational and helpful instructors. it was an amazing experience and we can't wait to come back!

As a tourist, I loved the great on-site facilities and grounds at this Victorian grand house. The original features and rooms were impressive, and the surroundings had beautiful trees. There were also plenty of activities for both children and adults, like table tennis, pool, and a bar.

Felt very homey, nothing was too much trouble.

The noise levels in the hotel were quite disruptive, especially during the night. The constant slamming of doors made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I stayed at Avon Tyrrell for three nights as a base to explore the area. The surroundings were beautiful, the host was friendly, and I loved the keypad access instead of keys. The activities offered were great, and it was a short journey to the seaside. The room was basic but clean, with comfy beds and working toilets/showers. Good value for money, especially for families looking for an active vacation.

It was a perfect place for my family to unwind and spend quality time together. the breakfast served was delicious and provided a great start to the day.

the washing facilities were subpar, with most of the showers not working properly and lacking locks or private areas for dressing. This made getting ready a bit uncomfortable.
