the room I booked for myself and two others was spacious and spotlessly clean. the recent renovation works were evident in the modern and updated decor. the location was ideal, being close to all the main attractions in town. We were especially pleased with the delicious and generous English breakfast that was served.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the sights in town. The staff were friendly and the prices were affordable. I also loved that they had rooms on the top floor with shared bathrooms, giving it a unique touch.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Guests can easily walk to the RSC and other local attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with luxurious beds and pillows. The breakfast is deliciously cooked and beautifully presented. Guests also have access to a separate kitchen, which is a great convenience.

One guest mentioned a slight smell in the kitchen area from the fridge.

Our stay at the Avoncot Guest House was wonderful! We stayed for two nights and were greeted by the sweet and friendly owner, Dianne. The room was clean, spacious, and recently renovated. The location was perfect, close to all the important sites. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the English breakfast. Dianne and her daughter, Emma, made us feel super welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel in the heart of the town. The staff were super welcoming and made me feel right at home.
