the room was large and very comfortable. location was good, short walk to main street and sites. the owner showed us around & the food was great!

The hotel is situated in a prime location, right in front of the bay and within walking distance of most of the town centre. The restaurant is always busy and offers a great dining experience. For those looking to tour the islands, the hotel is conveniently located and just across the road from the local ferry service to the outer islands. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer a spacious and warm environment for guests.

I had a wonderful stay at Brilliant Hotel. The recently completed apartments provided a comfortable and lovely view of the 'Peedie Sea'. The self-catering bungalow on the outskirts of town offered breathtaking views of Kirkwall and Kirkwall Bay. Everything was first class and highly recommended. I'll recommend this hotel.

Lack of helpful staff guidance.

This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The central location right in the town centre makes it convenient for exploring Kirkwall. The staff provide excellent service and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable with fantastic en-suite showers, and some even offer a view of the 'Peedie Sea'.

The room was not up to our expectations. the shower head was quite dirty and had bits of mold, which made for an unpleasant experience.

the new accommodation block was a major upgrade, with spacious rooms, a huge comfortable bed, and a well-appointed bathroom. the location on the harbor was fantastic, providing convenient access to both the town center and nearby attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the breakfast options were varied and the restaurant offered delicious meals. a nice hotel with great staff.

The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the town and nearby attractions. We were able to easily walk to shops and amenities. the staff seemed to be trying their best to meet high standards, although they fell short in some areas. the hotel had potential but failed to deliver on several important aspects.

The room we stayed in during our Christmas break was not up to par. the pillows were uncomfortable, like resting your head on a foam block.

Brand new apartments with ample light. Convenient location for exploring the area. Outstanding food, especially the scallops. Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. Welcoming check-in process with the option to upgrade for better views. Highly recommended.

Nothing to complain about at all

We had a fantastic stay in this city. The hotel's cleanliness was impressive, with spotlessly clean rooms and excellent water pressure in the hot showers. The large, comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the convenient parking right in front of the hotel and the ease of using the lift. The location was perfect, right opposite the harbour and close to transportation to the northern islands. The hotel staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating to our needs. The breakfast selection was delicious, with a focus on Scottish and local produce.

Couldn't find any faults at all.
