We had an absolutely amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was unbeatable, being just steps away from the beautiful beach and offering breathtaking views of the sea. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring that we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the convenience of the on-site parking and the fast and reliable Wi-Fi. we highly recommend this hotel for its incredible location, top-notch service, and comfortable accommodations.

our recent stay in seascale was amazing, but bailey ground lodge exceeded all expectations. the sea view, comfy bed, and clean room with useful facilities made it a perfect stay. highly recommend the calder house hotel for food and drinks, just a short walk away. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making our experience even better.

Only downside was the missing breakfast.

The location was perfect for us as trekkers, with walking routes alongside cliffs and beautiful views everywhere. Peaceful and quiet, with a stunning view of the sea from our windows. The room was spacious and in excellent condition, with comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!

bailey ground lodge exceeded my expectations yet again during my recent stay in seascale. the room was massive with a comfy bed, large flat screen tv, and a clean bathroom. the breakfast was excellent, and the staff and service were superb. can't wait to come back!

The view from our room was breathtaking, we could see the sea and it was amazing. the bed was really comfortable. Location was perfect, it was easy to get around and there were plenty of things to see and do nearby.

We had to carry our heavy luggage up to the second floor without any assistance. the room needs some repairs, the heater made a lot of noise and kept us up at night.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to beautiful, quiet beaches. the view from the room was amazing and the room itself was spacious and well equipped. the village had everything we needed, including a fabulous pub with a great beer garden. the property was peaceful and we couldn't hear any noise from other rooms.

There was no breakfast available, although we were informed about this prior to arrival. we couldn't find any staff at the lodge and more information about the facilities available for guest use would have been helpful.

We loved the fantastic views of the beach from our room and being able to watch the sunset through the window. The large, comfortable bed was a bonus for a good night's sleep. The location was also wonderful, with close proximity to popular peaks and lakes in the area, as well as walking routes alongside cliffs nearby. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the small town/village was a refreshing change. a great choice for adventure travelers seeking beautiful views and a peaceful stay.

I recently stayed at Bailey Ground Lodge for a peaceful and quiet holiday in the Lake District. The spacious room with a high ceiling and a huge double bed was perfect for my wife, my 4-year-old son, and me. The cleanliness of the lodge was impeccable, and we had all the necessary amenities in our room, such as clean towels, a small fridge, a hairdryer. The location was excellent, offering a superb view, and the lodge provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this lodge to my friends.

Loved the excellent location to the beach and local shops, as well as being a short drive from attractions like Muncaster Castle and Ravenglass Railway. The hotel was very clean and had a modern ensuite, TV, fridge, and plenty of storage. Spacious room with an extra large bed was perfect for our family, and the sea view we requested did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of free parking available. The lodge had all the amenities we needed and was great for those on a budget, with the option to prepare our own meals.
