The staff even stayed late to make sure it was cooked to perfection. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, and I absolutely adored meeting Portous, the adorable pub dog. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet area, yet still close enough to the center. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was fantastic. We especially loved the rain cloud shower and the fresh milk and water provided in the little fridge. The staff at this place were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food served in the dining area was absolutely delicious, and we also enjoyed dining in the pub in the evening. The hotel also offered room service, which was a convenient option. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were ironing facilities in the room, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The carpets throughout the hotel were in poor condition and needed replacing. They were dirty, especially in the hallways and stairs, with some areas being threadbare.

just got back from an amazing honeymoon trip to sidmouth and balfour arms went above and beyond! friendly staff who remembered us from our previous visit, super comfy rooms, and delicious breakfast. loved the pub and garden too. everything was perfect at balfour arms!
