I was really impressed with my stay at this hotel. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were very reasonable for such a well-maintained establishment. Secondly, the attention to detail was fantastic. The rooms were nicely laid out with towels and there were spare blankets in the wardrobe, which was a nice touch. The kitchenette in the room was also a great addition. Additionally, the location of this hotel was perfect. It was in a great area for easy access to Darlington by foot. the staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were more than satisfactory.

I recently stayed at the Balmoral Guest House for a short trip to Darlington. The confirmation email from Andrew was prompt and he even arranged a complimentary pick up from the railway station. The customer service was exceptional, and I highly recommend this charming property. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a great character. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the town centre, and the private parking right outside our room was a big plus. The breakfast was fantastic and reasonably priced, leaving us satisfied all day. I can't wait to return next year!

I had a delightful stay at a cozy guest house near the city center. The staff at Balmoral Guest House, particularly Andrew, were incredibly warm and hospitable. They made me feel like I was staying with old friends. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a very comfy bed and a big mug for tea or coffee. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the room was wonderfully warm. The breakfasts offered were superb, cooked fresh to order, and reasonably priced. I was even offered a ride to the city center by the friendly host. a fantastic experience!

Delightful period property with original features. Warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. Comfy beds with quality linens. Spectacular breakfast, top-class restaurant feel. Relaxing stay, would return.

Value for money was exceptional, with a comfy, clean room and a refreshing shower. The location was great, near the Darlington center, and the owner and staff treated me like old friends, going out of their way to help. The English breakfast was the best I've ever had, and the owner even sent my lost wedding ring to my home address after I checked out.

I had an interview at the hospital the next afternoon and Andrew, the owner, upgraded me to a quiet room in the annex at the back of the property at no extra cost. He also allowed me to leave my car on the property after my late check out. The dining area was lovely and quiet, and Andrew even made a cuppa for me. The room had a full-sized kettle, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was superb. The staff were amazing and looked after my bike in a private parking area. Would definitely stay here again.
