The property can be a bit challenging to find at first, but the effort is well worth the reward.

During our stay at Balvraid Lodge, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Rachel and James. The lodge itself is a beautiful blend of modern comfort and historical charm. Our room had a stunning view of the hills and a spacious bathroom with a digital shower that my daughter absolutely loved. The hosts even provided a kitchen for guests, which came in handy when we wanted a late-night snack. In the evening, we enjoyed the cozy den with a crackling fire and had a delightful chat with other guests over wine and whiskey. The next morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs, salmon, fruit, croissants. The attention to detail and the warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. I can honestly say that our stay at Balvraid Lodge was enchanting and one of the most memorable experiences I've had while traveling. I highly recommend this delightful lodge.

Although the lodge is located in a tranquil countryside setting, it is a bit far from restaurants. One evening, we found ourselves dining on gas station food, which was a bit disappointing.
