The apartment has a convenient adjoining car park. The location is amazing, with a lovely pub just up the road and a village shop where you can enjoy coffee outside. The staff at the pub are friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent in terms of quality and value. The hosts are great, always available to help and provide recommendations for activities in the area. The apartment is spotless and simply stunning, with a fantastic shower and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to cook for a few days. highly recommended for a perfect getaway in breathtaking surroundings. Plus, it is dog-friendly, which is a definite plus for pet owners.

As longer-term business travelers, we loved The Mardale Inn's beautifully designed and contemporary rooms. The super king-size bed with high-quality linen ensured a comfortable sleep. The pub had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with a good selection of food and drink at fair prices. The location was perfect for exploring the Far Eastern Fells and getting away from the typical tourist spots. The on-site village shop provided all the essentials, and the free WiFi was a bonus in an area with limited phone signal.

Absolutely loved it, fab room on the ground floor, perfect for my dog. The hosts, Dan and Justin, were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even brought milk to our door and made us toast in the morning. Highly recommended!

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even making a delicious cake for my husband's birthday. the room we stayed in was clean and equipped with everything we needed, including cutlery, a microwave, and a fridge. the location was convenient, with a cafe and shop nearby for basic needs.

Although the bed was comfortable, it was also quite squeaky, which made it a bit noisy. while the mattress on the king size bed was comfortable, the other bed in the room was not as comfortable.

The location of the hotel is quite remote, with no nearby places to eat or shop. However, the pub on site is a good option and opens from Wednesday onwards. The hosts, Dan and Justin, are accommodating and even have a small shop where they can provide food for guests. The rooms at the hotel are excellent and offer great value. They are self-contained and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including high-quality furnishings, a comfy bed, and even a microwave and fridge. The hosts are welcoming and create a pleasant atmosphere, allowing guests to relax in the outdoor area.

One minor drawback is that the hotel does not provide milk as part of its amenities, but it is easily accessible from the nearby shop.

Loved the funky annexe room - that mezzanine bed was a dream, and the shower room was spotless and modern. the garden area was a tranquil spot for chilling out, and the quirky decor in the pub added a nice touch to the vibe. Only snag was the heating was a bit wonky, but hey, no biggie - just needed to get cozy under the covers until it finally kicked in. 🌿

the Mardale Inn, with its welcoming team, provided excellent service and advice on exploring the locality and transportation options. the room was comfortable, especially the bed, and the food and beer at the inn were great. It was inspiring to learn about the community pub story and meet the people behind it. I can't wait to find a reason to come back and spend a full weekend here.
