We stayed at the charming Bassa Villa on our way from London to North Wales. The riverside location was absolutely lovely, and the old character building had a wonderful ambiance. Our room had gorgeous modern bathroom fittings and was spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and cheerful, and one lady even helped us carry our things to the room. The bed, although a bit small for us, was incredibly comfortable. The hotel had everything we needed and was in a great location, just a short walk uphill to the high town. We particularly loved being next to the river and enjoyed exploring the area.

We had a very nice stay in a great location. The room was spacious and filled with character, with beautiful beams and a charming fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the heating kept us warm. We also enjoyed a lovely view over the river Severn. we really enjoyed our stay at Bassa Villa.

The only slight issue was that the fan in the bathroom was quite loud, but it didn't bother us much and didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of our stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in a charming area near the river. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to the upper town within a few minutes. the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The lack of breakfast was a disappointment, especially considering the price we paid for the room. It would have been nice to have that option available.

My second visit to this charming property, and I must say, it was a delight. The views of the river Severn from Room 1 were simply beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, basking in the sunshine and watching the river gently flow by. The atmosphere in the little bar downstairs was so cozy, perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with crisp, fresh sheets. The beams added a touch of charm to the space. And let's not forget the delicious dessert we had downstairs before bed. a quirky and enjoyable experience at Bassa Villa.

I chose this hotel for its dog-friendly policy and proximity to the old town. The 17th century charm of the room, complete with beams and a fireplace, made me feel like I was staying in a castle. The spaciousness, comfortable bed, and warm ambiance were perfect. The view of the river Severn was an added bonus. Checking in early was no problem, and the bar had a great selection of beers and gin. The outdoor seating area overlooking the river was delightful. I will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming 16th-century Tudor inn by the river. the room was comfortable and had a historic feel with old beams and fittings. the view of the river and garden from our room was lovely, and we enjoyed spending time in the popular beer garden by the river. the location was ideal, being next to the river and just a short walk from the Severn Valley Railway station and the cliff railway for the high town.
