We recently stayed at this gem of a place for a weekend getaway. The location is amazing, with beautiful rooms and attention to detail in the decor. We loved watching the owls come for supper both nights, a unique experience! The easy access system and parking were convenient. The breakfast, delivered to our door, was delicious. The large room with big windows overlooking the garden was a treat. The bathroom, just a few steps away, was spacious. This special place exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to visit again.

I recently had an incredible experience at a unique B&B tucked away in the countryside. The hosts, David and Charlotte, were exceptional and made me feel right at home. The large, comfortable rooms provided a great night's sleep, and the breakfast spread was delicious, with options for vegetarians. The highlight of my stay was the wildlife in the garden - I was able to capture some amazing nighttime photos with David's expert guidance. This B&B truly offers a one-of-a-kind wildlife experience.

Some aspects of the property could use some maintenance and tidying up.

I had an incredible time at this hotel. The location was peaceful and secluded, perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with large beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including the beautiful gardens that were dedicated to wildlife. I especially loved the bird watching and photography courses offered by the hosts. The hotel's proximity to the coast was a major bonus, allowing for easy access to the beach and scenic views. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, especially the full English that was surprisingly not greasy.

Great value for the money spent, with a spacious and well-furnished room including a big TV. The location of the hotel was scenic, with a fantastic view from the window and plenty of wildlife to observe. The staff treated us warmly and respectfully, making us feel like we were at home.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved by ensuring the food was served hot enough.

Beautiful rural location near the coast. Accommodating host with helpful information about the area. Hot breakfast served in our room and a small refrigerator provided. High-quality amenities like a wall-mounted TV and comfortable bed. Maps and walking information available for the area. Clear communication about the limited dining options in the village. it was a mind-blowing and jaw-dropping experience with unlimited positives to enjoy during our stay.

our recent group stay at bawdsey was amazing! the hosts were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing. the large, comfy bedroom and delicious breakfast made it even better than our previous stay. watching wildlife in the morning was a highlight!

Had a fantastic Xmas stay at this characterful property! The room was large and comfortable, with lovely photos on the walls. The hosts, David and Charlotte, were incredibly friendly and chatty, making us feel right at home. We were thrilled with the opportunity to go into the hide and see owls and badgers in their natural habitat. The efforts they've made to create a habitat for wildlife were truly inspiring. Plus, the delicious breakfast was a great way to start the day!

The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options and delivered to our room. The room and private bathroom were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the view of the wildlife in the garden in the evenings. The location was also great, especially for visiting Bawdsey Quay.

There were a few aspects that we didn't quite enjoy. there was no daily room refresh, which would have been nice during our 5-night stay.
