I recently stayed at a lovely hotel with a fantastic breakfast and stunning views over the bay. The Bayview was perfectly located for exploring the town centre and the hosts were friendly and helpful. They even offered a generous discount for a nearby attraction, Mount Stuart house, which I highly recommend visiting. The room was comfortable and had a nice view, and the hotel had a relaxing outdoor patio and guest lounge. it was a well-maintained property and I would definitely stay there again during my next trip to Bute.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Bayview. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even sending us a text message to assist us with finding a place to eat. The room was spacious and the garden view added a nice touch. Despite there being no lift, the hotel was well-maintained and the cleanliness was exceptional. The breakfast provided was delicious, with fresh fruit and a satisfying cooked breakfast. We also appreciated the attention to hygiene and customer welfare, especially during these challenging times.

The shower in my room had excellent water pressure and provided hot water instantly. No "Full House Syndrome" here! The fresh fruit salad and grilled tomatoes for breakfast were a delightful touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The room itself was extremely comfortable, with plenty of hot water and the most amazing sea view. Waking up to breakfast in bed was an absolute delight, with a plentiful and freshly cooked meal, accompanied by unlimited tea and coffee. The attention to detail and the level of comfort provided truly enhanced my stay.

In summary, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. It is an outstanding hotel in a wonderful location, filled with character and offering breathtaking views.

The hosts Irene and Andrew were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. It made our stay extra special. Lovely rooms and view. 10/10 breakfast. Brilliant location.

We had room 5, the bay view suite, and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else now. Stunning, immaculate, and well-equipped room. Excellent breakfast, with a clean and fresh fry-up. Convenient location, just a 15-minute walk from the ferry pier. Coping with Co-vid was amazing, with a prompt and delicious breakfast-to-go delivered right to our door. No daily servicing, but excellent communication if we needed anything. Wonderful husband and wife ownership.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk away from the town centre and the ferry terminal. It is also close to the castle, offering easy access to popular tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with excellent en-suite facilities. The service provided by the friendly and helpful staff is commendable. The breakfast options are varied and cater to different dietary needs. the hotel offers a picturesque view of the waterfront, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

Some essential amenities such as hand soap were not provided in the room, which required us to purchase our own.

We had a fabulous stay at The Bayview in Rothesay. The room was spacious and had a stunning sea view. The cleanliness was excellent and the breakfast was the best we've had in a long time. The hosts were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. our experience at Bayview was fantastic and we can't wait to return.
