We had a fantastic stay at Bear! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the pub was great. The room in the courtyard was comfortable and elegant, with a powerful and adjustable shower. The food in the bar was excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best we've had. The beautiful gardens and outdoor eating spaces were perfect for relaxing. The location in the heart of town was convenient, with shops to explore. We will definitely return and have recommended it to friends and family.

I recently stayed at the Bear hotel in the charming town of Crickhowell. The location was perfect, right in the center of town. The food and service exceeded my expectations, with an excellent evening meal and a great breakfast menu. The hotel itself is full of character and combines modern comforts with historic charm. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and I loved the wine bar at the corn exchange. a pleasant trip in a beautiful location.

I was impressed with our stay at The Bear. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks.

We had the best value for our money at The Bear. The room was absolutely amazing, with a luxurious bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a beautifully revamped ensuite. The location couldn't have been better, nestled in the center of a charming town and within easy access to Table Mountain and Blorenge. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel right at home. a superb experience.

Morning meal could be improved with more options for guests.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

We recently stayed at a hotel in a beautiful town and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the town and its stunning surroundings. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable and accommodating. The hotel also had relaxing gardens where we could unwind after a day of sightseeing. Every aspect of our stay, from the well-maintained room and bathroom to the excellent service and delicious breakfast, exceeded our expectations. We were also impressed by the variety of facilities and advantages offered by the hotel.

We did find that the parking spaces were limited, which was slightly inconvenient.

The Christmas decorations were lovely, and the log fire in the lobby created a cosy ambiance. the proximity to the town centre and its shops was convenient, and the hotel staff was friendly.

The room was cramped, and the heating was ineffective, making it chilly throughout our stay. the Wi-Fi signal was patchy in different parts of our room, and the Christmas dinner was fairly pricey for the quality of food offered.

This hotel is right in the center of town, making it a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Brecon National Park. The rooms are kept in the traditional style but with very clean modern bedrooms, equipped with all the necessary facilities. We were lucky to stay in a newly refurbished room with an amazingly powerful shower. The staff were friendly and provided great service, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Additionally, the breakfast options, including the old fashioned cheese & chutney baguette and gluten-free choices, were delicious and satisfying.

We were amazed at the variety of options on the evening menu at the Bear. The staff was lovely and the food was outstanding. We also appreciated the smaller menu available throughout the day. The location, with a free car park nearby after 6pm, was also convenient. Although the prices were a bit high, the quality of the meals made it worth it. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent food.
