The lodge I stayed at was absolutely amazing! The host was so kind and thoughtful, even baking us some delicious cupcakes for our arrival. The furnishings in the lodge were of high quality and the power shower was excellent. We also appreciated having access to WiFi and Sky TV. The location of the lodge was great, as it was just a quick taxi ride away from a fantastic dinner spot at a nearby hotel.

There were a couple of negative aspects during our stay. the lodge was not as clean as we had hoped.

I had the most amazing stay at a beautiful lodge in a stunning location. The lodge itself was immaculate and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were incredibly welcoming and even left delicious homemade cupcakes for me upon arrival. I especially loved breakfasting in the summer house by the river. The lodge's secluded and private setting provided the perfect peaceful escape. I can't wait to go back!

The lodge at Bear Lodge exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The lodge itself was spacious and well-presented, providing plenty of room for me and my family. We especially loved the wee summer house by the beautiful stream, which was perfect for enjoying a romantic glass of prosecco. Another huge plus was that the lodge is dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along for the trip. I had an amazing stay and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend Bear Lodge for a memorable and comfortable getaway.

The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including free WiFi and a TV with a good choice of channels. The location was great, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. One thing we really enjoyed was the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind.

It was not as spotless as we had expected, with some areas not properly cleaned. the beds were not as comfortable as we had hoped, which affected our sleep quality.

bear lodge truly exceeded our expectations. from the spotlessly clean accommodations to the warm welcome with homemade cakes and fresh flowers, every detail was perfect. margaret's suggestions for exploring the area made our family trip even more enjoyable. we've already booked our return visit in june and can't wait to relax on the decking or in the summer hut by the river.

Great views of the garden, and the free WiFi and private parking were such a treat. Perfect for hiking and cycling, and the lodge had a cozy patio and seating area. a fabulous stay!

Oh, I just hated everything! It was absolutely terrible.

From the minute we opened the door, the lodge was bright, cosy, and welcoming. The hosts, Laura and Shirley, were friendly and detail-oriented. The lodges were well-equipped and comfortable. The summer house and patio overlooking the stream were a perfect haven. The cupcakes were delicious. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions. The attention to detail throughout the property was fantastic.
