Comfortable room, thoughtful touches, central location, helpful staff, delicious food.

The value for money at this family-run inn was excellent, with a cozy room and a quiet location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could be improved by having the toast served with the food instead of being self-service.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, making it easy to explore all that Newark has to offer. The staff were welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The highlight of our experience was the delicious and satisfying breakfast, which offered a variety of options to cater to different dietary requirements.

One minor drawback was the occasional noise from the busy main road outside, which might disturb light sleepers.

We recently had a romantic escape at this lovely B&B. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the gourmet quality of the food at the on-site restaurant. It was simply delicious! the location of the B&B was perfect, just steps away from downtown, making it convenient for exploring the area.

While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor downsides. as a senior citizen, I found the shower cubicle a bit difficult to navigate.

The warm welcome and friendly service at this family-run hotel made us feel instantly at home during our three-day stay. The home-cooked food was brilliant, and the location, close to the town center, was great. We will definitely choose to stay here again if we're back in the area.

The breakfast had a big variety of options, lots of vegetarian and vegan options and even kippers. the location was perfect for seeing the New Year fireworks. the room was big and the bed was comfortable.

There were steep stairs to get to the room and no elevator. the bathroom was not that clean.

The steep steps to the top rooms could be challenging with heavy luggage or for those with limited mobility. Limited parking availability was a minor inconvenience, but understandable.

We stayed at the charming Beaumond Cross Inn for a wedding nearby and couldn't have been more pleased. The room was immaculate and packed with cozy touches. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our request for a late check out. We will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel.

The prices of the Best Western hotel in Newark were much too expensive.

Convenient location, close to town centre and A1. Spacious attic room with large en-suite bathroom. Velux windows for fresh air. Nice and quiet, overlooking main road and car park. Excellent breakfast menu. Fabulous fish and raved-about steaks. Friendly and welcoming staff.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the location was perfect as it was quite close to the centre of town. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional, with their attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. Lastly, the breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all made with locally sourced ingredients.
