As a satisfied hotel guest at Beechwood, I had a wonderful stay in Windermere. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the furnishings were well cared for and loved. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a good variety of options including gluten-free toast. The hotel's quiet and calm atmosphere was perfect for me as an older couple. The location was ideal for exploring the Lake District, and the nearby Beresford Bar and Restaurant became our favorite place to eat in the evening. The friendly proprietors and staff made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay.

We stayed in a lovely traditional lakeland house, just a short walk away from the town center. Katherine, our host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities for making drinks. The breakfast served by Catherine was beautifully presented and delicious. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a parking area. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the Lake District by car.
