The location of the lodge is ideal, just a short stroll to the town centre and close to everything. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a nice flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom had a nice shower and good toiletries provided. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had plenty of choices. The small mini-fridge with fresh milk was a nice touch.

Stayed at a hotel over Christmas and the bed was comfy and had a big bathroom. the hotel had a great location close to the beach and shops. Breakfast was a real highlight, plenty of delicious food and great coffee.

The hotel was cold and drafty, and we had to wear our jackets inside to feel warm. the heating seemed to be off most of the time.

Lovely welcome with a cup of tea upon arrival. the owners were charming and took tremendous pride in every aspect of our experience. Our room was immaculate, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Plenty of amenities provided, including a large TV with a DVD player and a bar for a cheeky nightcap. the breakfast selection was excellent, with both hot and cold options available, and the cooked breakfast was prepared in a healthy manner. We also appreciated the helpful recommendations for local attractions and activities.

Everything was perfect, from the location being close to all amenities and the beach, to the friendly and helpful hosts, to the cleanliness and comfort of the room. It was an exceptional romantic escape and we would definitely return in the future.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place, especially during these uncertain times. They had hand sanitizers available in all areas and explained the necessary safety measures upon arrival. My room was spotless and had a partial sea view, which was a lovely bonus. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and a choice of options. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.
