Had a blast snorkelling, canoeing, and cycling in the area. The living room was cozy and the patio had stunning lake views. Parking and free WiFi were a plus. Flying in through Aberdeen Airport was convenient.

Oh, how I missed a king-size bed for my regal slumber. Zzz.

We had a bit of trouble with the bed size, it was smaller than what we are accustomed to at home. We would have preferred a king-sized bed, but it was a comfy double bed nonetheless.

The cottage's location was ideal, as it was only 20 minutes away from Aberdeen, offering plenty of rainy day activities. We also had the opportunity to visit beautiful beaches and attractions nearby, such as Balmeadie beach where we saw dolphins and Newburgh beach where we spotted seals and seabirds. Additionally, we had enjoyable days out at Pitmedden Gardens and Haddo House and Gardens. The owners were extremely helpful and made our trip easy to plan. I would highly recommend Beehive Cottage for a peaceful getaway.
