During our stay at Belfry House Villa, we absolutely fell in love with its central location. The views of the stunning York Minster from the windows were a real treat, and waking up to the sound of bells in the morning was a delight. The house itself was full of quirky charm, with its sloping floors and narrow staircase leading to the attic. It was our second visit to this charming abode, and we're already planning to return in the future. The location was exceptional, with easy access to the bustling streets, cafes, pubs. Exploring the city within the walls was a breeze, and the kids were especially enamored with the unique character of the house and the vibrant city.

The location of the house is exceptional, allowing easy access to all the main attractions within a short walking distance. The views from the house, especially from the sitting room, provide a delightful spot for people watching and enjoying the charm of the city. The house itself has a unique and historic feel with its wonky floors and narrow staircase, adding to its overall charm. the warm welcome upon arrival and the clean and tidy rooms contribute to a comfortable stay.

The noise levels at night can be a bit disruptive due to the old windows with gaps in them, which allow external sounds to penetrate the rooms.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, with everything within walking distance. The hotel provided clean linen and bedclothes, and we were pleased to find hair dryers in the bedrooms. The living room was incredibly comfortable, with great couches for relaxation. The bedrooms were also lovely, and the ample bathrooms were a plus. The kitchen was a good size and well-equipped. The hotel's charm and old-world character added to the overall experience. We also received a warm welcome from the staff, making us feel right at home.
