had a wonderful short break in gartocharn. ben lomond cottage far exceeded expectations. friendly hosts, cosy log burner, complimentary amenities, and beautiful decor made our stay unforgettable. will definitely be back next year!

During my recent stay at a lovely cottage in a great location close to Loch Lomond, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the property. The photos truly don't do it justice. Linda, the owner, was incredibly friendly and made sure we were settled in comfortably. The double bed was very comfy, and having a TV in both the bedroom and lounge was a nice touch. The cottage also had a spacious and beautifully decorated interior, with stunning views. I appreciated the added amenities such as a picnic kit and the provision of essentials like shower gel, tea, and coffee. The shared garden was also a lovely feature. Despite a few minor setbacks like limited Wifi and no cellular reception, my overall experience was fantastic.

Beautifully decorated and spacious cottage, perfect for two people. Close proximity to Balloch and Loch Lomond. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, the best we've ever encountered. Comfy double bed and seating area outside. TV in both the bedroom and lounge. Clean and tidy with good size shower. Stunning views and large shared garden. Picnic kit provided. Good heating system. Included amenities such as shower gel, tea, coffee, etc.

Felt very well taken care of, no complaints.

We got great value for our money at this lovely old cottage. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a very comfy double bed. The location was perfect, with easy access to Loch Lomond and nearby walks. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available when needed.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was having more choices, like a wider variety of pastries or fresh fruit.

No freezer, but there was one in the back garden.
