We had an amazing stay in a beautiful area. The location was perfect, with a nice pub only 20 minutes drive for a meal at night. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with a clever fly net over the window. The staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options. The garden and horses added to the beautiful setting.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with clean and well-maintained spaces such as the sitting room and conservatory. The attention to detail was wonderful, from the bone China mugs to the great choice of lighting in the bedrooms. The breakfast was delicious and the table setting was beautiful. The staff were the friendliest we have ever encountered.

The house is absolutely beautiful, with clean and well-decorated rooms. The garden area is incredible and provided a peaceful retreat. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The owners were friendly and always went above and beyond to assist me during my visit. The breakfast set up was convenient and had a good variety of options.

The entry to the property was a bit tight, especially for larger cars, and the lighting outside at night could have been better for walking from the room to the car.

I recently stayed at this charming guesthouse for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and treated to a delicious evening meal. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful extras like a jacuzzi bath and a 40" TV. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of options and impeccable service. It was a delight to meet the owners, Jack and Margarett, who run the guesthouse with such passion and dedication. Truly a hidden gem in the countryside.

We got incredible value for our money at Bessiestown Country Guesthouse. The room was beautifully appointed and the added bonus of a conservatory and lounge area with an honesty bar made it even better. The location was perfect for a quiet country getaway and the staff, especially John, were welcoming and attentive.

Breakfast delights, but it would have been even better if there had been an option for poached eggs.

The warm welcome we received on arrival was amazing. the rooms were cozy and well maintained. the breakfast was a perfect start to our day and we loved the fact that we could choose our own breakfast items. the location was very convenient as it was easy to find and close to key attractions.

A dirty saucer with the tea making facilities left in our room. But we are sure it was just an oversight as everything else was perfect.
