The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful, they really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the location was great, just a short walk to the city center and close to the channel tunnel. Another advantage was the fantastic breakfast they served, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

While the hotel had a lot of charm, it definitely showed its age. the rooms were a bit tired and could do with a refurbishment.

Friendly staff, efficient check-in, delicious breakfast with tasty pastries. Leaky teapot was a minor inconvenience, but excellent tea selection made up for it. Plush towels and cozy library for reading.
