The hotel had a fabulous location with views of York Minster, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast with a good selection, and comfortable rooms with amenities like portable aircon.

We had a fantastic stay at The Dean Court in York for my husband's birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even left a box of sweets and a card for him in our room, which was a lovely touch. Our cozy double room was surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for the two of us. The hotel's location was perfect, right across from The Minster, and all of York's attractions were within easy walking distance. The British Classic menu offered a delicious three-course meal for an unbelievable price of £20. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to store our bags and car before and after check-in. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this hotel.

The value for money at Dean Court was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. The central location was a huge plus, with everything within walking distance. The staff were fantastic, providing helpful service throughout our stay.

We were thrilled with the valet car parking service at The Dean Court. It made our arrival and departure stress-free and convenient. Additionally, the central location allowed us to easily explore all the wonderful sights and attractions of the city. The extensive menu and wine list in the restaurant offered a delicious culinary experience. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade on arrival, which made our stay even more memorable.

We had a satisfying stay at a hotel recommended by a friend. The location was excellent, right between two historic churches, and within walking distance of many attractions. Our room had a beautiful view of the York Minster. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included in our room rate was more than adequate. Despite the lack of central air-conditioning, the hotel provided a unit upon request. We also enjoyed the hotel's bar and restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for its location, service, and atmosphere.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, right by the historic area and in easy reach of all attractions. The view from the breakfast hall, overlooking the Minster, was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just across the road from the famous Minster. It offers stunning views of the Minster from its restaurant, allowing you to enjoy a lovely meal with a breathtaking backdrop. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with excellent maid service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, providing great service and making guests feel welcome.

In some rooms, there was a bit of noise from outside, particularly in street-facing rooms.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city within the city walls. The staff was amazing, especially the Hungarian staff member who looked after us in the bar until the early hours of the morning and saved us a fantastic breakfast table looking directly out at the Minster. The service was excellent, and the staff really have excellent customer service, always making sure everything is up to our satisfaction.

We really enjoyed our stay here. the location was ideal with everything we needed in walking distance, and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the powerful shower and the little fridge in the room. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised to find some complimentary toiletries and chocolates waiting for us upon our arrival.

While we had a great stay overall, there were a few minor things that could have been improved. the cafe/bar area lacked ambiance and felt a bit cold, and our window wouldn't open.
