This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of town, ideal for a walk or shopping. The rooms are comfortable with good basic amenities, and the breakfast served by the chef is amazing with fresh croissants and hot food.

The room had a great view of the river and was perfect for my backpacking trip. The reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast room and food were excellent. The hotel was easy to reach from the train station.

Great view from the third floor, could see for miles. Large shower with strong water pressure, although shower head was too high. Lovely and helpful staff. Convenient location, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops. Good central heating in rooms. Decent breakfast and reliable Wi-Fi.

The location was amazing, being so close to the city center made getting around this city really convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in Scotland and was pleasantly surprised by all the amazing things that it had to offer! the complimentary mince pies and mulled wine during check-in made us feel welcome immediately. the location was ideal as it was right near many shops and restaurants. we loved the fact that the hotel had a car park that we could use for free.

The room was not as advertised. It was missing a big chunk of wallpaper and the radiator was peeling away.

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town, close to the railway station and within walking distance to shops, bars, and the shopping centre. The rooms are clean and have a good view, with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast options are delicious. the hotel offers a great location and pleasant facilities.

One negative aspect is that there were one or two things in the room that required a little TLC, such as torn wallpaper and a damaged window sill.

This hotel is great value for money. The prices are fantastic for such a central location, within a 10-minute walk from the railway station and 5 minutes to the shopping area. The attention to detail is excellent, with comfortable rooms that have a bath, not just a shower. The staff were amazing and provided excellent service. Free parking was a good service too. The rooms had great views towards the town centre and were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, with a full hot breakfast selection and continental options too.

All was perfect during our stay.

I had a delightful stay at this historic hotel with its grand appearance and original features. It was fascinating to learn that Winston Churchill used to stay here during his time as MP for Dundee. The location couldn't have been better, as it was just a stone's throw away from the V&A Dundee, RRS Discovery, and the city center. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
