Delicious Sunday lunch

I decided to have lunch at Strathaven Hotel last Sunday and I was not disappointed. The modern interior and lovely beer garden created a pleasant atmosphere. The highlight of the meal was definitely the twice cooked chips, they were absolutely amazing. Though the service was a bit slow, it was understandable due to the good weather and high number of people dining outside. When the food finally arrived, it was well worth the wait. I will definitely return, maybe without the kids next time. I highly recommend this hotel.

Booked Strathaven for a relaxing and comfy stay during outdoor building work nearby. Instantly impressed upon arrival, the warm and welcoming atmosphere was complemented by the amazing spa-like scent in the reception area. The staff were lovely and accommodating, even suggesting wines to enjoy in our room and providing warm plates and cutlery for our takeaway. The vegan breakfast options were a delightful surprise. we felt incredibly welcome and will definitely be back!

We were excited to visit a refurbished restaurant and were not disappointed. The decor and atmosphere were spot on, and the staff were fantastic, making our dinner experience truly enjoyable. The food was amazing, with a wide variety of options on the menu. Our server was attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It definitely lived up to the billing and we can't wait to return for another event at Lauder's restaurant.

The bedrooms were a bit dated and could use some TLC.
