As young holiday goers, we loved the location near major routes and the peaceful surroundings overlooking fields. The food was delicious, staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean. Draught Stella Artois was a plus!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the recently rebranded Mercure hotel. The room I stayed in was fantastic—spacious, with a luxurious bathroom featuring a deep bath and a fantastic shower. Though the towels were a bit small, the comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The in-room fridge and safe were convenient, although the fridge could have been colder. The hotel bar served delicious food, and I highly recommend the bacon and cheese club with chips and salad. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold dishes, and the hot English breakfast was cooked to perfection. Despite being near a busy road, the location was surprisingly quiet. The hotel grounds were lovely and relaxing. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.
