We had an amazing value for our money at this chalet in Bideford. The room was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. The shower was fantastic and the owners went the extra mile by providing a surprise welcome pack with sweets for the little ones. They also sent us helpful notifications about family appropriate events nearby. it was a very pleasurable stay with attentive hosts.

As for the breakfast selection, it could use some improvement.

Lovely area, calm place. Clean and airy with modern appliances and a few little extras that can help when needed. It had spare blankets as it got cold in the evenings. There were phone chargers, some DVDs for a rainy day so all very helpful. The place was clean and ready for our arrival. There was a folder with local maps and things to do with children in the local area which we used. Ideal place for a short stopover if you want to visit Devon.

The double bed mattress was thin and not too comfortable, the bed also seemed smaller than standard. Although the shower was just about sufficient for a couple of days, you could only use it on eco as on full the thermostat differential is too large so you end up either freezing or burning, and on eco on a cold morning it’s barely warm enough.

Great location, close to beaches. Nearby attractions like the Big sheep and Milky Way. Spotless chalet with all cooking items needed.

We had a fantastic stay at 20 Bucklands in Bideford Bay Holiday Park. The location is perfect, with beautiful beaches nearby, especially our favorite, Westward Ho! We loved the convenience of being close to attractions like the Big Sheep, Milky Way. The chalet itself was spotless and had all the cooking items we needed. The on-site shop was great, and we especially enjoyed the fabulous food at the site restaurant. The chalet was spacious, homely, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including phone chargers. The beds were lovely and comfy, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. We were impressed with the value for money and will definitely be recommending 20 Bucklands to our family for their next visit to the area.

The area surrounding the accommodation was absolutely lovely, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it perfect for a romantic escape. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, and it was ready for our arrival with spare blankets for cooler evenings. We appreciated the local maps and children's activity folder provided, which helped us plan our outings. the inclusion of phone chargers and DVDs for rainy days was a thoughtful touch.

It would have been nice to have a meet and greet from the hosts upon arrival or departure to ensure everything was satisfactory. Unfortunately, after we left, we received a message claiming damages that we were not aware of, which was surprising as we left the space in good condition.
