The moment we arrived, we were greeted by Penny the Jack Russell and her Labrador friend, which was a delightful surprise. The single room was incredibly clean and the ensuite bathroom was fantastic with a large sink and shower cubicle. After a long drive, the comfortable bed provided the best night's sleep I've had in years. The breakfast was delicious, with a full English and toast, as well as a range of cereals to choose from. Bishopcleugh Guest House exceeded all expectations and I highly recommend it.

The only minor downside was the lack of a shelf in the shower cubicle for toiletries.
