The hotel/pub had a lot of character and charm, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. the bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep after a long day of walking. the breakfast was enjoyable and offered a good selection. the staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.

The lighting in the rooms could be improved, especially in the bathroom which felt quite dark and dated. there were some aspects of the room that felt tired and in need of updating, such as the furniture and equipment.

I had an amazing stay at a fantastic old pub. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the moors. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, treating dogs like equals. The room was well furnished with a comfy bed and plenty of fluffy white towels. The pub had a pool table and a pay-to-play jukebox, perfect for a fun evening. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious, especially the fish and chips. it was a great base for exploring Swaledale.

Plus, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. They even had dog-friendly amenities for our furry friend, like a sausage at breakfast and dog towels in the room. I had a fantastic experience at Black Bull Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

The stairs to the top floor were quite challenging for older adults, making it difficult to navigate. Our room was uncomfortably hot and on a slope, causing discomfort and difficulty sleeping.

We had a very pleasant stay at a lovely hotel in Reeth. The breakfasts were decent and gave us the energy we needed for our outdoor activities. The bar had a great atmosphere and the proprietors were very nice. Although we usually don't sleep well in away beds, the shower was excellent. the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was clean and allowed for early check-in. The room itself was a comfortable size with an en-suite. The pub had a good selection of drinks and the food for both dinner and breakfast was very tasty.

I recently stayed at the Black Bull in Reeth for a weekend getaway. The double bed was comfortable, the bathroom was adequate, and the garden view was lovely. Despite the hotel being full, it was surprisingly quiet. The full English breakfast was generous and cooked perfectly. The hotel offers a good selection of beer, and the evening meals looked delicious. I highly recommend this Inn for its reasonable rates and overall excellent experience.
