The mattresses were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. The location was great, right in the heart of the town and within walking distance to all the shops and pubs.

The house was not child-friendly and the location was incredibly noisy, with people coming through the private alley at all hours. There were also several maintenance issues, such as broken blinds and dim lighting.

We had a lovely stay at Black Gem Cottage for 3 nights. Comfy mattresses, fully stocked kitchen, and nice decor throughout. Convenient high street location with everything within a 5-minute walk. The owner was responsive and provided a parking space, a rarity in town. A fabulous and comfortable cottage with all the necessary amenities.

The location of the cottage is fantastic, right in the heart of the town. You can easily access all the attractions and amenities within a short walk. the designated car parking space provided is a huge advantage, especially in a busy town where parking can be challenging. The cottage is also fully equipped with modern facilities, such as a washing machine, fridge, and TVs, making it convenient for long-term stays.

Some noise can be heard in the early mornings due to the activities related to nearby businesses.

We had a great time staying at this well-equipped property in a central Whitby location. The owner was helpful and responsive, and the mattresses were comfy. The cottage had everything we needed, including a washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, TVs , WiFi, and kitchen utensils. The stock of necessities and games was a nice touch. The high street location made it convenient to walk everywhere in town.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
