The warm staff and lovely decor made up for the lukewarm water issue mentioned twice. Plenty to enjoy with a great restaurant, scenic location, and cozy room with comfy bed. A few hiccups like a noisy basement room, dry food, and late breakfast time, but overall a pleasant stay with potential for improvement.

The kids loved the spacious garden where they could run around freely, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. the family-friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the delicious food and drink options pleased both adults and children alike.

My children wanted more kids' entertainment options onsite.

The value for money was great, with cozy and impeccably clean rooms and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, overlooking the High Street with minimal noise. The staff was friendly and the outside terrace/garden was a pleasant touch.

We stumbled upon a delightful country pub with amazing food, cozy rooms, and top-notch staff. The young lady behind the bar and at check-in showed exceptional customer empathy. The breakfasts were a highlight, with a wide selection of deliciously cooked plates. The rooms were warm and well-appointed, and we loved that the hotel is dog-friendly. The pub's beautiful garden, adorned with fairy lights, provided a lovely setting for a delicious dinner. We can't recommend The Black Horse enough!

Stayed at a charming inn in a beautiful English village. the room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. the entire building was maintained wonderfully, oozing with charm. the dinner we had was delicious and of excellent quality, with cheerful and friendly service. Breakfast was also tasty, despite being busy due to short staffing. We will definitely return and highly recommend this fantastic place.

The cooler temperature of the shower and bath water. While the staff explained it was for safety reasons, it was a bit different from my usual preference for extra hot showers.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel provides packed lunches for guests.

Some guests experienced issues with room size and storage space, and there were inconsistencies in the quality of cooked food.
