We had a fantastic stay at Blackthorn Gate! The lodge was cozy, warm, and had all the comforts of home. The breathtaking views from the veranda were simply stunning. The hot tub was a fabulous addition, perfect for relaxation. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We also loved exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of beautiful places to visit. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Blackthorn Gate provided the perfect getaway, allowing my partner and I to escape from the challenges of a difficult year working in the NHS. the lodges were not only beautiful but equipped with everything we needed, making us feel right at home. the surrounding views were breathtaking, and we particularly enjoyed using the binoculars to observe people climbing the nearby mountain. the hot tub was a luxurious touch and became our favorite spot to relax. the owners were attentive, regularly checking and maintaining the cleanliness of the hot tub. We felt completely at ease with the spotless environment, which was crucial during these times. We can't wait to return with our loved ones and recommend this amazing place to everyone we know.

The location of Blackthorn Gate was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that left us in awe. The lodge itself was spacious and well-maintained, providing all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything necessary to prepare meals, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack of milk, tea, and more. The hot tub was a highlight, clean and well-maintained, allowing us to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The bathrooms were modern and luxurious, with clean white linen on the comfy beds. We also enjoyed the privacy and tranquility of the lodge, making our stay truly peaceful.

We did experience some minor drawbacks during our stay at Blackthorn Gate. The TV signal was not the best, with frequent cut-outs and loading times.
