I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owners were wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The room was spacious and had a partial sea view, exactly as advertised. I was even treated to the sight of gulls nursing their young on the opposite roof. The large double bed provided a comfortable night's sleep and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. I loved the brilliant idea of filling out a breakfast request to avoid any wastage. The hotel's location was perfect, just off the main street and close to all the tourist attractions. I was able to walk to the tea and coffee facilities and everything was within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were friendly and informative, recommending places to visit that I would have never found on my own.

This hotel is excellent as the beach is only a few minutes walk away, along with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars. The location is perfect for either accessing the beach or taking a trip up to the town center. The rooms are great, with large double or twin options and plenty of space. The windows on two sides offer a fantastic panoramic view of the sea and harbor. The breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection including cereals, muffins, croissants, scones, yogurt. The cooked breakfast options were perfect, with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, full cooked English, salmon and scrambled egg options. The service and staff were great, and we even found little baskets on the way to our room with extra milk, teabags, sugar, and even some sweets.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, just off the main street and a short walk up to the town centre. The room was clean and spacious, with a newly-fitted shower and ample tea and coffee making facilities. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. And the panoramic view of the sea and harbor from our room was simply breathtaking.

The noise from the seagulls near the hotel could get a bit disruptive at times.

I recently had a fantastic break in a seaside town and stayed at a lovely lodge. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and the beautiful seafront just a stone's throw away. The room was spacious and clean, with all the necessary facilities like tea-making and a TV. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The view of the beach and lighthouse was breathtaking. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The steep hill leading to the lodge, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

The value for money at the hotel was exceptional. The room was bright and comfortable, with a lovely partial sea view. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the seafront and town center. The morning meal could have been improved with a selection of UHT milks for those who prefer skimmed or semi-skimmed options.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is amazing, situated on a hill just 100 yards from the lovely beach and promenade, and on the edge of the town. The staff were friendly and the service was satisfactory. The rooms, though in need of some refurbishment, were comfortable and some even offered a partially sea view. The breakfast was decent, ensuring a good start to the day.
